Raleigh, N.C. – August 15, 2017 – VitalSource Technologies LLC, the leading global platform for creation, enhancement and secure delivery of high-value learning content, is pleased to announce the hire of Eric Kuennen as its new Vice President of Professional Learning. In his role, Kuennen will lead VitalSource’s efforts to enable customers’ and partner companies’ professional learning.

Kuennen joins VitalSource from Pearson, where he most recently led the team that provided educational benefits to corporations’ employees. He held numerous roles during his time at Pearson, including oversight for corporate, association, government, EQUELLA, for-profit schools and third-party partnerships like VitalSource. Additionally, Eric has worked for industry-leading companies Cengage Learning, Course Technology and Follett in the K-12, higher education, library and continuing education sectors.
In 2014, after nearly 20 years of experience in higher education, VitalSource began providing content creation, enhancement and delivery services for professional learning associations, certifying bodies, content developers and corporate partners. Offerings in the professional learning segment include print-to-digital conversion and VitalSource Content Studio, an authoring platform to create natively responsive and WCAG 2.0 Level AA accessible content, paired with secure global distribution and content management through the industry-leading Bookshelf® learning platform.
