Longtime Strategic Alliance is Renewed to Bring eBook Opportunities to More Schools and Students

Melville, NY – October 3, 2016 – Ambassador Education Solutions, the innovator in course materials and content integration programs, has broadened its agreement with VitalSource Technologies Inc., provider of the leading digital educational content platform. Ambassador has created seamless integrations so that students and faculty have easy access to eBooks, while providing administrators a single source to review and analyze eBook engagement metrics.

"Ambassador has a tremendous track record helping schools implement digital content programs, and we are thrilled that its team has elected to continue our alliance to bring even more digital learning opportunities to colleges and their students," said Pep Carrera, COO of VitalSource. "Ambassador's technologies, processes and quality controls for managing both print and digital content programs are impressive. Its team works tirelessly to help schools of all sizes customize content programs that make the most sense for their students, whether it is evolving to 100% digital delivery, or creating programs where students and schools choose their content method."

VitalSource's eTextbook platform is used by millions to read, study and learn. Ambassador's custom integration with VitalSource® augments the process, delivering publisher content to students in a unified manner and enhancing interactivity and convenience. The integration also provides schools with advanced efficiencies, functionality and business intelligence. Administrators can easily view all course material data, including eBook analytics, through Ambassador's SourceOne system.

For institutions that want to pursue a transition from print to digital, or simply give students an option between the two delivery methods, Ambassador assists in developing an eBook implementation plan that is aligned with each school's unique goals. Ambassador handles the entire migration to the digital content platform, preserving all historical student data, and also assumes responsibility for digital rights management, redeeming the appropriate eBook licenses.

"Our deep integration with VitalSource has made a significant impact on our clients' operations and their ability to successfully meet the evolving needs of students," said Steven M. Blicht, COO of Ambassador. "In this day and age where more and more students expect that access to educational resources should mirror the flexible, instant access they have to information in their daily lives, we are confident in VitalSource's ability to deliver a high quality and highly engaging education experience."
