Allison Hart is the senior marketing manager for corporate training for VitalSource. In her career, Allison has handled marketing for a variety of industries including healthcare, long-term care insurance, credit cards, and medical supply distribution. In addition, Allison ran a training department for a large corporation. Her most recent position before coming to VitalSource was as product marketing manager for GovDelivery in St. Paul, Minn.
In addition to her work in marketing for corporations, Allison has taught marketing at the collegiate level as an adjunct for the University of Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth University. She grew up in Winston-Salem N.C., but moved to the Washington D.C. area after getting her B.A. from Appalachian State. She has her M.S. in Strategic Marketing from Johns Hopkins. When not working, Allison is an avid advocate for rescue animals and enjoys spending time with her two rescues Maggie (pit mix) and Sam (hound).
