VitalSource has long been committed to increasing student success through easy access to affordable content. We also believe that if you can, you must improve learning for students and expand educational opportunities for all learners. Of course, we are not alone in this view and it is the reason many companies have built assessment-rich course materials.

Some users may have noticed that starting today, June 28, 2019, Cengage has made the decision to use an internal Cengage eReader for all US-based Cengage Unlimited and Cengage Brain content.

So what does this mean for users? While content will transition over to the Cengage eReader, we want to make sure the disruption to students’ access is minimal. Users will be able to access any content, including all your notes and highlights, on Bookshelf while there is an active license. To do this, you need to contact VitalSource Support and we will assist you in creating a Bookshelf Account or logging into an existing Account. Additionally, where direct links for VitalSource books are enabled in an LMS, those will continue to work.

We’re here for you! If you have any questions regarding creating a Bookshelf account and getting access to your content, please contact VitalSource Support at https://www.vitalsource.com/getsupport.

Any questions related to the Cengage experience can be directed to Cengage support: 1 (800) 354-9706 (US customers only) or http://support.cengage.com/.
