Of course, we are not alone in this view and it is the reason many companies have built assessment-rich course materials.

VitalSource Bridge helps get content to the right people at the right timeHow many internal meetings have left your team saying, “if only we had a platform for those customers, we’d grow sales” or “If only we had a way to easily sell collections, we could enter that market” or, even “If only we had a way to easily sample to that group, we’d increase awareness of our great content”?

We have good news: with VitalSource Bridge, selling or sampling a selection of titles to a distinct group of users has never been easier.

Using VitalSource Bridge, you can create exclusive access to content, organize content to meet customer needs, set concurrency limits for assets, provide unlimited or partial access to collections, create courses, integrate with ecommerce, and set online and offline durations; all with ease.

With such a versatile tool, it can be hard to grasp the ways in which Bridge can help you reach new customers and monetize content in new ways. We’ve found that the best way to explain Bridge is through user stories. Here are just a few:

Bridge provides course materials to students in Indonesia

Bridge made a big impact at Indonesia’s Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta last fall, and also grabbed the cover story in the academia section of the Tribun Jogja. In partnership with several publishers, the university used Bridge to provide free course materials to more than 5,000 incoming students.

Bridge gives students more choice, and publishers save on printing and warehousing costs

As publishers move away from having warehouses full of print books, one large higher education publisher found a way to get ahead of the competition through Bridge. Rather than guessing how many copies of upper-level textbooks they needed to print and stock, the publisher put the choice in the hands of students. The publishers instance of Bridge offers trials, rentals, and full purchases for digital or print versions of select books through a polished student-facing portal.

Making K-12 adoption review easier with Bridge

Another large publisher used Bridge to grant digital course materials access directly to decision makers at K-12 school districts across the US. These adoption portals drove long-term and large-scale deals for the publisher, saved the publisher thousands in printing and shipping costs, and provided the publisher with details on usage and access by decision makers.

Three different problems - one solution.
